The seemingly never-ending road isn't daunting, but liberating. Sometimes the journey, more than the destination, is the best part of any escape. And getting lost is not only fun, it's often the whole point. And the fun begins when you take those long walks alone, when you finally have time for yourself, to explore new places and see familiar things in a whole new way. Making frequent stops on a road trip once you spot something interesting, or taking a left turn when the crowd goes right. Your trip then becomes an adventure. Most of the photos in this blog were from trips years back and have been shared previously in my other blog (http://dude4food.blogspot.com/), and hopefully, this blog will grow with even more photos and new adventures.
A memorable road trip from Aspen to Lake Tahoe driving through snowy mountain passes and long desert roads ended with a sight like this, early in the morning without the crowds after driving the whole day and night (more on my post here at Finally...Lake Tahoe). It's moments like this that make the journey special.
Join me as I share with you different adventures, both old and new, through photographs taken during solitary walks. Often, it's those moments alone when you see the world in a whole new perspective, when you truly discover a place. Come along and enjoy the ride...or send me an e-mail at fooddude.gsm@gmail.com.
