It's not just any other zipline. At Vitalis Villas, it's 650 meters of pure speed across the expansive Sabangan Cove. And it just doesn't get any better than that...
Perched high above a hilltop on the luxurious cliff-side resort property of Vitalis Villas is the white zipline tower, three-storeys high, and your ticket to one of Vitalis Villas' memorable attractions (for more on Vitalis Villas, the North's newest summer lifestyle destination, see my previous post here).
At 650 meters, it's an unforgettable ride that lasts almost a full minute, as you soar across the wide blue Sabangan Cove. The full length of the line, from Vitalis Villas to Vitalis Resort & Spa (more on Vitalis Resort & Spa on my previous post here) on the other end of the zipline, is one cool ride. Your speed is dependent on the prevailing wind conditions, and there's nothing like a light breeze to push you even faster across the scenic cove.
All set and ready to take the plunge...
...and with one deep breath, I start my ride with a leap of faith...
...gliding through the luxurious Vitalis Villas for an unforgettable bird's eye view of the expansive dove-white cliff-side property.
A gentle breeze pushes you faster, picking up speed at the middle of the ride over Sabangan Cove. And then, the crew securely grabs you at the other end, you've just conquered Sabangan Cove in style.
Walking down the tower, the shuttle from Vitalis Resort & Spa is waiting and ready to take me back to Vitalis Villas. One check off my bucket list.
Early the next morning, the view from my balcony at Vitalis Villas presents Vitalis Resort & Spa draped in a misty haze, and the zipline seemed to call out for another ride. And why not, let's do this...
